Ian is the Treating Customers Fairly Manager within Tackle Finance.
Ian was born & raised in the rural environment of New Zealand. He worked for the ANZ Bank, a major agricultural funder, for six years before embarking on the big ‘overseas experience’. He travelled and worked around the world for five years, three of which for major banks in City of London. Ian began working for Humberclyde Finance in 1992 as a South West Area Manager, until going broking on his own in 1999.

Ken is Tackle Finance’s Complaints Officer.
Ken worked for twelve years in the dairy business with Alfa Laval Limited as a salesman and running a depot until milk quotas came in in the 80s. He then spent seven years with Barclays Mercantile Highland Finance – t/a Highland Leasing as an Area Manager for Dorset and the South West. Ken went self-employed as a Finance Broker in 1993 and was an authorised agent for ING Lease (UK) Limited in Dorset.

Luke is the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Tackle Finance.
Luke began working full-time within the family finance brokerage after finishing university in 2009 with a Business Management degree. He has gained a good knowledge of the asset finance world working alongside Ken, Ian and Eve over the years, and now brokers his own deals from his growing customer base.

Julian was employed for 12 years as the Barons BMW/MINI Group Business Manager, agent for BMW Financial Services, arranging finance & insurance for cars and light commercials. In 2010, he left employment to set up UKA Finance LLP; an independent asset finance brokerage providing funding for all types of vehicles, plant & machinery and general equipment, to both business users and private individuals.

Jeff is a farmers Son, first employed to sell New Holland and then Case Tractors. He spent one year with NFU Mutual Finance before moving to ING Lease where he was employed for eight years before going out on his own as a Broker in January of 2003.

Steve started his finance career with Barclays Mercantile Highland Finance in 1995 as Area Manager for South Devon and Cornwall before being invited to join John Deere Credit in 1997 where he was Area Manager for the company’s business in Devon and Cornwall, and eventually Somerset and Dorset as well.
After a short spell looking after the same area for AGCO Finance from 2006 to 2008, he went self employed and started his own broking business in March 2008 which he runs with his wife, Heather.

Eve is Tackle Finance’s Compliance Officer and Office Manager.
Eve joined Tackle Finance Limited in July 2004 after completing her university degree, to initially assist Ken and Ian with the increasing amount of administration required with running an asset finance brokerage.
Her role has evolved greatly over the years to include brokering her own deals, managing the main office and handling all the compliance work for the business.

Jan Parratt has run the back office of Tackle Finance since it’s formation, handling the VAT, accounts and banking side of things. Previous to this she assisted Ken with the administration of his finance brokerage.
